Working on the Puppet manifest to install the newrelic-sysmond package to all the nodes. I want to host the newrelic-sysmond.rpm on the company repository server but in that case the i have to re-sign the rpm .
What i need to do is to download the rpm from the New Relic repository , move it to the RPM build server and run the following command.
rpm --resign newrelic-sysmond-1.3.1.437-1.x86_64.rpm
You will be prompted to enter the passphrase and that’s it.

In Apache Ant , we can use the <exec> task to execute shell command in Ant script . Previously i have shown you how to integrate Apache Ant with SVN .

這一步做得漂亮，顯示了器度和學養。如果對中英譯名有研究，就知道一九四九年之後中國對美國名字的音譯，由於政治的惡意，都有醜化成份，如韓戰的美軍司令Matthew Ridgway，官方譯「李奇威」，但大陸不想他威風，故意貶譯為「李奇微」。還有Al Haig，國務卿，台灣香港譯「海格」，大陸叫「黑格」，都是發洩仇恨。
夏千褔是漢學家，香港華文傳媒的編輯看不到的，他看到了。但他認為香港應該「一國兩制」，他不知道香港在譯名方面早跟大陸「統一」了，例如本來「紐西蘭」，現在跟大陸「新西蘭」（那麼紐約是否應改稱「新約」？）還有什麼「澳大利亞」、「悉尼」、「德克薩斯」。香港真的想「一國兩制」？ 從這些小處的犯賤，我認為香港其實想一國一制。 Continue reading 陶傑 – 改不掉 →
英法兩國的反伊斯蘭婦女面紗辯論，進入新的回合。
阿拉伯婦女戴面紗，是男權壓制婦女的「文化傳統」。剝奪女性表露本相的權利，即是剝奪她們的人格。女人不但不可以將美貌公諸於世，一張臉孔，是一個人基本的身份，千百年來，不獲伸張。
阿拉伯的宗教洗腦，令女人自己對於戴面紗、穿黑罩袍，只露一對眼睛，覺得理所當然。幾年前我去東南亞某國，女導遊是回教徒，誇誇而談女人一生應該如何服從男性。我笑問：「你身為婦女，你覺得這樣公平嗎？」她厲盯我一眼：「這是我們從小的家教，我們從來不質疑。」
當西方擁有常識的文明人告訴她們：你們上了男人的當，你們正在受到霸主的欺凌壓迫。許多偏激的人卻憤怒地揮舞拳頭，辱罵西方「干涉內政」，企圖改變她們的傳統。
