Mac – Generate SSH Keypair
Prior to the topic about the SSH keypair, i would like to let u know that the BeansTag module is already submitted to drupal.org and now undergoing the approval process. BeansTag is a light-weight and user friendly SEO tool which help you setting the meta attributes as well as page title. It is also multilingual supported. Visit the BeansTag project page to get more ideas or even try it with your Drupal 7.
Before i could start working with the Git repository hosted in drupal.org, i have to create a SSH keypair and add it in my Drupal account profile. Actually i have done the similar task before but that is for Windows. For your reference, you can refer to the following post.

Drupal – Force Path Prefix for Default Language
Update: 2012-04-18: This solution is for Drupal 6 and it hacked the Drupal core. So please apply it with extreme caution. For Drupal 7, please try the approach suggested by outsourcer.
When you have more than one language on Drupal site, you have to define the default language among one of them. For example, if i set English as the default language, it will be shown in both http://<domain_name>/ and http://<domain_name>/en. but all the links in the default language will not have the en path prefix. 我收到好幾十封讀者的來信。年長一點的說：”每看你的文章，心情激動難平，一再淚下。”年輕一點的大學生寫著：”在成為冷漠的社會人之前，請告訴我們：我們能為臺灣這個母親做些什麽？”更年輕的，高中生，說：”反正做什麽都沒有用：我大學畢業就要遠走高飛，到美國去！”

少年人激動憤慨，老人家傷心落淚，絕對不是因為我的文章寫得好。這一大疊情緒洶湧的信件對有心人應該透露出兩個問題：第一是事態本身的嚴重性；臺灣生活環境的惡劣已經不是知識分子庸人自擾的嚷嚷，而是市井小民身受的痛苦。第二是個人的無力感；如果這個社會制度中有暢通的管道讓小市民去表達他的意願、去實現他的要求，他就不會郁積到近乎爆炸的程度，就不需要憑靠區區幾篇不起眼的文章來發泄他的痛苦。 Continue reading 龍應台 – 美國不是我們的家
龍應台 – 台灣是誰的家
五顏六色的牌樓又搭了起來，五顏六色的燈又亮了起來。莊嚴的大人物湊著麥克風講整齊對仗的句子，報紙的頭版有紅色的大字，彩色的框框；收音機的鈕轉來轉去都是標準又悅耳的女聲……
啊！又是一個光復節！
光復節又怎麼樣？仍舊是人擠人、車擠車的世界，烏煙瘴氣。
可是這是四十周年的光復節——四十年哪，人生有幾個四十年？
四十年又怎麼樣？淡水河是條發臭的毒溝，觀音山是長了膿瘡的病狗。嬰兒喂假奶粉，小孩吃餿水油，大人喝用過的寶特瓶，老人把畢生積蓄交給十信……四十年又怎麼樣？光復節又怎麼樣？
立法委員向俞國華我們是否有一個“信心危機”。俞院長說，沒有沒有；當然沒有。江南、李亞頻、餿油、十信、毒玉米，都是孤立案件，不代表任何意義。我們信心十足，信心十足。
可是我聽到鄰居十歲的小孩丟下書包大聲喊：“媽媽媽媽，臺灣不能住了。我是吃餿油長大的！”我也聽到二十來歲剛結婚的朋友皺著眉頭說：“結婚可以；生孩子，不可以。每天騎機車上班，眼紅瘋狂的人潮與車馬常勾出我心中對整個人類的仇恨來。一輛機車狠狠插在我前面的那一刻，我血液沸騰得很願意當場撞得他頭 殼破裂而不覺一點點惋惜。把新生命帶進這樣一個世界來，不，太殘忍了。”
為什麼沒出過國的小孩會下“臺灣不能住”的結論？為什麼一向篤信傳宗接代的中國人會覺得臺灣這個地方不可以養兒育女？俞院長的“信心”來自哪裡，是哪一種信心，我覺得茫然。不肯承認我們有信心問題，是因為看不見問題或不敢說實話，我實在無從判斷。我只知道，父母千方百計地把幼兒稚女送出國讀書，表示對我們的教育制度沒有信心（是的是的，王贛駿與丁肇中的成功等於我們教育的失敗……）。有錢人把產業化整為零地存到國外銀行，表示對我們金融制度缺乏信心。政府官員與大學生管珍惜綠卡，每年氣喘喘地來回，表示對我們的政治前途沒有信心。反對人士必須躲在外國的羽翼下才敢發言批評，表示對我們的民主憲政沒有信心。至於年輕人覺得這片土地已經糟到不適於傳宗接代的地步——這不是缺乏信心，這是絕望。年輕人的話，令我深深的哀痛；而那些不著邊際的高調，令我失望。 Continue reading 龍應台 – 台灣是誰的家
