By default Finder would not show hidden files. Use the following commands to change this setting.

• defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
• killall Finder

If you want to revert the change, toggle the setting by

• defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE
• killall Finder
