闊佬掠水,窮人埋單。為什麼要反對興建高鐵?因為這是一條戇居的鐵路,是一條蠢鐵。高鐵由全香港人付款興建和養護,掠水刮龍的卻是地產商和建築商,一群盤踞立法會功能組別的闊佬。高鐵的唯一功用,是幫助推高西九龍沿線的地價,使地產商大刮一筆,而且順便用「地底毒龍鑽」的方式,在不告知業主和居民之下,撼動地基,令九龍沿線的舊區變成危樓,「打死狗講價」,便利強迫收購舊區重建,起樓發財。興建高鐵的工程造價高昂,可以帶挈建築商發一筆大財,還在其次矣。

編按:今周五1 月8 日,立法會進行高鐵撥款審議續會。珠三角一小時生活圈,乃政府推銷高鐵時所營塑的港人生活願景。但民間學者馬國明清晰指出,這種廣告式的政策推行(運輸及房屋局長鄭汝樺昨天特意透過媒體催促撥款通過),不過意在刺激我們的消費意欲,然後在「一個圈圈之內滾動」:馬氏分別援引門禁城區和「滾動中的石頭長不了青苔」的西諺,封閉意象砸碎官僚口中多采自足的、「解決兩地家庭團聚問題」的願景—— 「一小時生活圈的概念就是要人們放棄家的觀念」。而香港一班年輕人在政策促銷之聲中,以青春去持守「慢」之法則,與「時日無多」、為便捷所醉惑的人們直面對話。

- Small: devices with a screen size smaller than the T-Mobile G1 or Samsung I7500, for example the recently announced HTC Tattoo.
